Cookie Policy

⚠ Draft — pending solicitor review

This cookie policy is a draft and must be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before publication. Cookie usage should be verified against the live application, and the consent mechanism must be confirmed as compliant with PECR and UK GDPR before launch.

We recommend using Termly (termly.io) or iubenda (iubenda.com) to generate a compliant, auto-updating cookie policy for your jurisdiction.

This Cookie Policy explains how Triage.club uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website or use our service. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or device when you visit. Cookies help websites remember information about your visit — for example, keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences, or understanding how you use the site.

Some cookies are essential for the service to work. Others are optional, and where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting them. You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the consent banner on this site, or by adjusting your browser settings.

Cookies We Use

Analytics configuration: We collect product usage analytics via PostHog (EU Cloud) with IP anonymisation enabled. PostHog data is stored in the EU. We do not send analytics data to the US. We do not use Google Analytics. No data is shared with advertising platforms.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Cookie Consent Banner

When you first visit Triage.club, a cookie consent banner appears at the bottom of the page. The banner gives you a clear choice: you can accept or decline optional analytics cookies. Essential cookies (used for authentication and keeping you logged in) are always active and cannot be declined, because the service cannot function without them.

If you click Accept, we will set analytics cookies (PostHog) to help us understand how the product is used. If you click Decline, no analytics cookies will be set, and no usage data will be collected.

You can change your preference at any time. Look for the "Manage cookies" link in the site footer, or revisit this page. When you update your choice, we will update your cookie settings immediately. Your consent preference is stored locally in your browser via the consent_given cookie.

We do not use cookie walls. You are never required to accept analytics cookies in order to use the service. Your consent choice is logged in accordance with PECR and UK GDPR requirements.

Managing Cookies in Your Browser

Most modern browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. You can usually find cookie controls under your browser's privacy or security section.

If you block or delete essential cookies on Triage.club, you will be logged out and the service will not work until those cookies are allowed again. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the service.

Below are the paths to cookie settings in the most common browsers. If your browser is not listed, check its help documentation for instructions on managing cookies.

Google Chrome
Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Mozilla Firefox
Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Apple Safari
Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Microsoft Edge
Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Browser cookie controls affect all cookies from a domain, including essential ones. Blocking essential cookies on Triage.club will prevent login and normal use of the service.

Need a compliant cookie policy?

We recommend Termly (termly.io) or iubenda (iubenda.com). Both tools scan your site for cookies automatically, generate a compliant policy, and keep it up to date as your cookie usage changes. They also provide consent banner widgets that meet PECR and GDPR requirements.
